According to the singer himself, the PHN arose from the experience acquired by him in the visits to prison, Casa Foundation, houses to support the HIV virus, in addition to his own life history. Last fall teammate Charlotte Hisle moved to a city that has no evangelical church. During a prayer retreat soon after, someone prayed that instead of her having to seek out people, they would come to her. Not long after her return, there were knocks on her door, a gift of home-grown produce on her doorstep and gardening tips offered, as well as volunteer labor and invitations to walk.
Some contacts have been made in more established settings. One is through the invitation to teach evangelical moral and religion classes in a public school. During the past year I taught a course on financial principles from a biblical perspective, something helpful during a time of economic crisis. Besides the classroom contact there are opportunities to meet with the administration, other teachers and monitors.

Expected results of the First Brazilian Conference on Wiki Scientific Dissemination are at least fourfold. Firstly, the Conference on Wiki Scientific Dissemination will be an opportunity for new and more experienced editors to discuss challenges and success cases of editing on topics pertaining to science on Wikipedia, especially hard science. To level this discussion up structured training sessions on editing science on Wikipedia are expected to be organized. Secondly, exchange and workshop sessions on editing science on Wikipedia will be set up. The intent is that experienced editors from Brazil and abroad will facilitate these sessions. Thirdly, an edit-a-thon on science will be organized during the event. Fourthly, the development of specific outputs is expected to be started at the Conference on Wiki Scientific Dissemination: a tutorial movie on editing at the frontier of science (in Portuguese, with subtitles in English), a report movie on the event itself (in Portuguese, with subtitles in English), a Wikimedia Commons page to display freely event presentations and eventually other recordings, and a brochure on editing science on Wikipedia (in Portuguese and English). 59ce067264
